Golfers Accidental Damage to Third Party Property
It's relatively easy for an errant shot to cause accidental damage on a golf course, and if you damage someone else's property, or the property of the golf course, you'll be liable to cover repair or replacement costs. What's more, most golfers spend a significant amount of money on their golf clubs, trolleys, golf bag, and other equipment, and so if you're required to pay for these damaged items it could result in a significant financial burden. If you refuse to pay the costs of damage caused on the golf course to someone else's property, you may be sued and the matter taken to court. If you subsequently lose the lawsuit you would be liable to pay for all legal fees in addition to the cost of the equipment. The financial costs of not having insurance could be so great, we advise you to take out our specialist golf insurance without delay.
Golf Care's personal property insurance - "accidental damage insurance" - means that if you damage someone else's property while playing golf your insurance cover will pay up to £2,500 for replacement and repair costs. For equipment that's more than three years old our sports insurance policies all repay at intrinsic value. This means that we will replace the third party property at the item's true market value.
We have four different levels of golf insurance. Accidental damage cover on our bronze and silver policies provides differing levels of insurance in the UK. Our gold policy will cover you throughout Europe and our platinum policy covers you anywhere in the world.
