I received a call from American Golf yesterday asking me to visit the Romford store. I collected my replacement Nikon Coolshot rangefinder that afternoon. I used it this morning during my game. I must therefore commend you for an excellent insurance service and such a speedy conclusion to my claim. To have lost my Nikon and have had it replaced in the space of 6 days is truly amazing.

I had been with Golf Plan for over 6 years, and although I hadn't had any problems with them, or made any claims I thought it was time to shop around. Then by looking on the web, quite clearly saw that you guys offered the best deals. As a keen golfer, and playing regularly I personally feel that having insurance is essential, not just to cover the clubs in the bag etc, but purely as a safeguard against those occasional wild shots! Just wanted to drop you a note to say thanks and how impressed I was with your prompt service and settlement of my claim for the broken window.
I run the communications side of things for my local club (website, media coverage of competitions, newsletters etc) and I reckon most people in the club wouldn't be covered if this or something worse happened to them. Also there are loads of people who take their gear on golf trips and probably don't appreciate that normal travel insurance won't cover all of it as well as your policy.

On Tuesday this week I rang Golf Care about our insurance renewal asking if I could get the ‘Free Golf’ vouchers before Saturday as we were going to De Vere Cameron House on Sunday. I was informed that they would get them in the post 1st Class - and guess what - they did, we've got them in time for Sunday and we are delighted with this service. "Mr Hennessey's golf clubs were stolen from the golf club whilst he had a policy with Golf Care Insurance. He put in a claim through Golf Care and was very pleased that the matter was resolved very quickly. Mr Hennessey said: "I couldn't believe that I had my clubs stolen from the club house. I thought it would be a safe place to leave them and had never had any trouble before. I was very pleased that I had Golf Care Insurance and that the theft of my clubs was covered by my policy. Mr Rogers hit a hole in one during a Christmas golf competition. He was very pleased with his shot but ran up a large bar bill during the after round drinks. He made a claim through Golf Care and it was dealt with very quickly. Mr Rogers said: "I was ecstatic when I saw my ball go in for a hole in one. I intended to stay in the bar for a drink after my round but this turned into many drinks and I ended up having to pay quite a hefty bar bill. I checked my insurance and saw that I was covered for drinks following a hole in one and was very relieved. Mr Thompson's golf clubs were stolen from a golf club in Thailand whilst he was on holiday. He had left his clubs on the back of the golf cart whilst paying for his round and when he returned the clubs had been stolen. Mr Thompson said: I couldn't believe it when my clubs were stolen, especially after I had taken them all the way over to Thailand. I was pleased to find out that my clubs were covered on my Golf Care insurance even though I was abroad when the theft took place. I was very pleased with the service even though it took a little longer to resolve than if the clubs had been stolen in the UK and I will definitely be renewing my insurance." Mr Thompson |
