New Rewards4Golf platform putts premium on choice and value

New interactive website from the UK’s leading golf loyalty programme providing 250,00 Rewards4Golf members with over 3,000 online retailer partners and discounted golf equipment

With over 250,000 members, rewards4golf is the largest golf loyalty programme in the country. Its recently updated platform at www.rewards4golf.com means its members now have access to over 3,000 online retailers – a year-on-year increase of more than 1,200% (250 partners in 2012). The impressive figure underlines rewards4golf’s commitment to making golf more affordable and with more places to generate points, golfers can do so quicker than ever before and redeem them for equipment or discounts at Direct Golf UK, the programme’s exclusive golf retail partner.

The development is the latest landmark for rewards4golf, which celebrates its 5th anniversary this year. The interactive website means that members are now capable of searching by product, brand, and retailer. As a result of greater functionality, rewards4golf anticipates that passionate golfers in the UK will continue to embrace the membership and take advantage of savings on their golf equipment.

“The changes have come as a result of consumer feedback and the cooperation of our retail partners. We feel we have developed a platform that works well for everybody. Of course, the number of new partners is fantastic for our members, as they now have even more places to build up points. Also, the value of the programme and our members has resonated with some of the country’s most recognisable brands, which speaks volumes about how it is perceived in the industry,” noted Tom Cowgill, Director, rewards4golf. “Our ultimate goal is to make golf more affordable and our members are doing exactly that through their everyday spending. With such a vast array of places to earn points and save money at Direct Golf UK, the scheme continues to go from strength to strength.”

Some of the leading golf brands included on the scheme are the likes of Direct Golf UK, Golf Care, Golfbreaks.com and De Vere. So whether a golfer is booking their car insurance or their next family holiday, as long as they do it through the rewards4golf website they will be making their golf cheaper.

“We’ve been the exclusive golf retail partner for rewards4golf since 2009 and have seen the scheme develop first-hand with more and more members coming online to redeem their points. rewards4golf members and Direct Golf UK customers are both passionate about the game of golf, but also strive for the value in their purchases. rewards4golf provides us with a way to reward them for their loyalty. Watch this space for the launch of a new scheme where customers can start redeeming in our nationwide stores,” commented Neil Bell, Managing Director, Direct Golf UK.

In celebration of the launch, rewards4golf is hosting an exclusive competition page. First prize is a De Vere Club membership, which will allow one lucky member the opportunity to play at each of De Vere’s 12 Golf Resorts around the UK, including The Belfry, The Carrick on Loch Lomond and Slaley Hall. Members are being urged to keep an eye on the website for updates and further competitions throughout the year.
