Golf equipment
cover (theft, loss and damage)
This will cover your golf equipment in the event that it is stolen,
lost or damaged whilst playing golf, including travelling to and from the
golfing venue. Golf Equipment includes your clubs, balls, bags, trolleys,
carts, clothing GPS devices and GPS watches and other accessories purchased for
playing golf. An excess of £50 applies. The following single article limits apply;
Bronze and Silver: £200, Gold: £500 and Platinum £1500.
Public liability
cover up to £10m
Cover up to £10m for the protection of your legal position should you damage property or injure another person whilst playing golf. No policy excess applies.
Personal accident
cover up to £50,000
Includes accidental death, permanent disablement, loss of limbs and loss of sight up to £50,000. Cover is also provided for dental treatment where a £50 excess applies.
Please note the following age restrictions:
- If you are under 18, the death benefit is reduced to £1,000
- If you are over 80, the benefits are reduced to £5,000 and there is no cover for permanent total disablement
New-for-Old
golf clubs and equipment cover up to 3 yrs
If your golf equipment is less than 3 years old and is stolen or lost whilst playing golf we will pay for a new replacement. This is providing you have proof that it was purchased new at the time.
UK cover
All of our policies include UK cover as standard. Our Gold package also includes European cover and our Platinum package includes Worldwide cover.
Golf equipment Hire
(in the event of loss/theft) up to £500
If you are making a claim for the loss or theft of your golf equipment and need to hire a replacement set of clubs in the meantime, we will fund up to £500 of the hire cost.
Dental Treatment
up to £500
Cover up to £500 toward the cost of any dental treatment required following an accident whilst playing golf. An excess of £50 applies.
Accidental Damage to Third Party Property
up to £2,500
Cover for any loss or damage to the property of others that you may accidentally cause whilst playing golf. No policy excess applies.
Hospitalisation
up to £25 a day
Cover up to £25 a day if you sustain a serious injury on the golf course and have to be admitted to hospital as an in-patient. An excess of 24 hours applies.
Club Subscription Reimbursement
If you have an accident whilst playing golf and are unable to play we will reimburse the cost of your remaining golf club subscription up to £8,000. An excess of 90 days applies.
Tournament fee reimbursement
up to £250
Reimbursement of any irrecoverable fees for a golfing competition if you have to cancel your attendance due to sickness or injury up to 14 days prior to the event start date.
Hole-in-One bar bill
Cover up to £200 for the drinks bar bill at your clubhouse if you achieve a hole-in-one during a recognised golf tournament. No policy excess applies.
Personal Possessions
(theft, loss, damage) Up to £250
Cover up to £250 if your Personal Possessions are stolen, lost or damaged whilst playing golf. An excess of £50 applies.
Loss of Golfing Trophies
Up to £250
Cover up to £250 if your golf trophies are stolen or damaged. An excess of £50 applies.
