2. Information We Collect
2.2 Personal Information - If you decide to apply online for a product or service or for a quote on a product or service offered by GC you may be asked to provide personal contact details (such as name, postal address and e-mail address), financial information (for example, account or credit card details) and demographic/profile information (for instance, your postcode and age). You agree that we can hold this information. We use Industry standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving customer data exchanged with our website.
Your personal information may be held by GC on computer or manual files and will be used for administration purposes including carrying out claims handling and fraud prevention in connection with any insurance cover we arrange for you. We will not make your details available to other parties for marketing purposes, but we and other companies also owned by Ripe Thinking Limited, may contact you to keep you informed of our latest products and services. All customers of GC with an email address will automatically be registered with Rewards4Golf, free of charge. If paying by Credit/Debit Card this number will be encrypted and also registered allowing GC policy holders to accumulate Reward Points by using their registered card at a number of high street and online retailers (full details available at Rewards4Golf.com)
Should a GC policy holder wish to opt out of Rewards4Golf, they may do so at any time by emailing Rewards4Golf at firstname.lastname@example.org. Full details of the benefits offered are available on the website.

2.3 Dealing with other people - To comply with data protection legislation, the request of many of our policyholders and to make the managing of your policy more convenient, it is our procedure to deal only with the person named on the policy.
If you would like someone else to be able to deal with your policy for you on a regular basis please let us know. In some exceptional circumstances we may also deal with other people who call us on your behalf. If at any time you would prefer us to deal only with you, please call to let us know.
